Marice & John are cute as a button together! They’ve know each other since primary school and the chemistry between them is quite evident in all the moments shared on their wedding day.

They said their vows on the 14th of September 2013 at Kiepersol Wedding Village in Parys, Free State. It was a day filled with heartfelt moments and many spontaneous giggles ;)

How did you meet / How did the proposal happen?

Marice: “We met in primary school and stayed three houses from each other since fifth grade. He proposed on the golf course where we regularly went to play (or should I say that I walked while he played). It was a total surprise because I didn’t think that it would happen so soon and on the 18th tee.”

What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

Marice: “The reception (actually all of it).”

How would you describe your wedding theme?

Marice: “Plain and rustic with a touch of something finer.”

Do you have any tips/advice for our future brides and grooms?

Marice: “Get someone to organise the wedding and decorations etc. for you, but still be an active part of everything. Don’t be afraid to listen to others’ advice, but remember what you really want AND ENJOY it!”
